He's a mix... looks like part Stafordshire Bull Terrier and part something bigger (maybe a labrador retriever or rhodesian ridgeback, from his shape.) He was from a rescue (dog pound) and he is called Buck. See http://www.22dog.com/breeds/Staffordshire-Bull-Terrier.html to see what the purebred looks like.
