I dont really know what scientists think, but in my opinion the conflict was hitting the ice burg and possibly what they didn't do to ovoid it in the first place.Like:-Forgetting the binoculars, and not searching for them, and/or not having spares.-Not bothering to take in the ice burg warnings.-Having too big of a ego to make a big effort to save people.-Supplying only a few lifeboats.-Most importantly, trying to outmatch her sister ship,The Olympic in speed.=Sorry if I seem rude but really, they should have done those things. But I guess to be all fair we learned alot and alot of egos were cut down,so we did hate to see the Titanic go down, but with it she carried the unresponsible actions and, like I said, egos.=
The external conflict is somthing happening between the person and the outside world, for instance if you were fighting with sombody else that would be the external conflict. although the internal conflict is something that is happening in the charecters mind or body, for example me in my mide tying to decide if i want a healthy or a unhealthy snack.
