On a spring/summer/early fall, habitants wore pants that came up to their knees. They also wore wide brimmed hats. Common cloth/fabric used to make the clothing includes linen and cotton usually. Women in the family made most of the clothing for all the family members. Most women wore long skirts made of linen and cotton. Silk was rarely worn. It was only worn during holidays and festive days, such as a wedding day.

During the winter, habitants and their families wore snowshoes and coats made of animal fur, usually beaver. This idea was taken from the First Nations people. hats were very common fashion statements.
