There will be a canon series for Naruto Shippuden. Too many were convinced that there wasn't going to be another series, but it doesn't have a known name yet, according to the source. All we know is that Naruto Shippuden will be like Dragonball Z and go canon. (there will not be a manga to support Naruto. It will be an anime only series. So basically, there is no known name for this series yet, we will have to keep waiting. Akkipuden is just a rumor.

i dont think there is one yet but if there is then it will probably be on when they were in the ninja academy or "about 20 years later" series. i dunno. this is only a guess.
