The French and Indian War is called the 7 years war in England. It was fought in the middle of the 18th century and had major consequences for the French, British and Americans. The French lost virtually all of New France and were effectively kicked out of North America by the British. The British all of North America all the way to the Mississippi River. One after-effect of the war for the British was massive debt that they attemped to tax their American colonies to relieve. It didnt work out so well for the Brits
