Most computer designers are just simple colour but some really complex. If I was you, I would probs spray paint it all in a dark colour and spray paint my name in (or use clear sticky paper. But its all up to you.
Any mid-range desktop or laptop would be suitable for use with Linux and have enough power for web design. Dells, Acers, and ASUS laptops tend to have high compatibility with Linux (I would not get an ASUS Eee PC for web design, as it is slow and has a low resolution).

I would not paint them. Paint or any other coating or stickers will increase heat retention which causes an earlier failure of electrical devices. You could try testors car model paint as it is designed for plastic or even a nail polish if your looking for accents in bright bold colors. As with most things test it first in an area that will not show to reduce problems if it causes damage to the appearance of the controller
If you have a PC, click on Start in the bottom-left corner of your Desktop and go to (All)Programs. Paint should be under Accessories.

To create decoration concrete what you should do first is to give the oncrete a thorough clean. Next you should get a stencil and draw on the design you would like to do. Next would be to get paint (acrylic seems to work well) and paint your design, then leave to dry.
Not possible. A CPU and a motherboard are needed even in a vcr.
Draw your design with a carpenter's pencil.
If you are trying to protect a design, use three coats of acrylic polyurethane. If you are trying to repaint a chair that has been coated with acrylic paint, use acrylic paint again.
The PC is better for graphic design because it has more capabilities and software for it than the Mac has.
You have to use design center spray paint
