Dobby gave Harry Potter gillyweed, a plant that would allow him to grow gills and breathe underwater. Dobby stole it from Severus Snape's stores after he heard Professor Moody discussing it (Moody being Barty Crouch having staged the conversation to ensure this outcome).

∙ 8y agoAlbus Dumbledore anonymously gave Harry Potter the invisibility cloak that once belonged to James Potter. Dumbledore, who once dreamed of owning all three hallows, borrowed the cloak so he could study it but James was murdered before he could return it.
Dumbledore felt guilty and wondered if things would have been different had James had the cloak on him that night. Harry told him that it wouldn't have made a difference as there wasn't time and Voldemort wouldn't have stopped.
