In the book they had a quick talk, or more of Darry telling Pony what Soda has been going through that week. Such as Ponyboy running away with Johnny after the murder of Bob and also Sandy, Soda's girlfriend, moving to Florida to have her baby that turned out was not Soda's. It happened all in one week. After that they run after him to talk to him and to bring him home.

It doesn't say the exact date he was born in the books, but he was born in 1949 (He was 18, it says so near the end when PonyBoy is going through SodaPop's old yearbook and figures out he's 18.)

Sodapop is considered a dynamic character because he undergoes significant growth and change throughout the story. He struggles with family issues, romantic relationships, and societal expectations, which all contribute to his development as a character. By the end of the story, Sodapop shows maturity and a deeper understanding of himself and his place in the world.

Sodapop (Ponyboy's brother) likes fights because he wants to see action and things happen. Darry (Ponyboy's oldest brother) likes fights because he thinks it is a showing off of muscle and he wants to fight everyone to show he was strong.
The fire in "The Outsiders" occurs near the end of the book, during the rumble between the greasers and the Socs. Johnny and Ponyboy end up saving children from a burning church that was set ablaze during the fight.
there are 4 main outsiders zira, vitani,Luka and kovu there are lots of other ones you can tell at the end ,if they are outsiders because they have darker fur Than the lions in the pride.
pony is really close to his older brother soda then he is to his oldest brother darry. He feels he can talk to soda about anything and not get a harsh or mean comment thrown back at him. At the beginning of the book Darry and Pony were not at all close, but by the end of the book they get kind of close, but not to close like what pony is with soda.
