Madagascan import requires that the following documents are submited to Gasynet (a Madagascan company) who will issue a BSC certificate once the docs are accepted:

1. Shipping invoice listing exactly all the goods item by item with weights, itemised pricing, dimensions, country of origin, ... 3 originals of this document hand signed and stamped are required, plus some copies.

2. Packing list listing exactly all the goods item by item with weights, dimensions, country of origin, ... 2 originals of this document hand signed and stamped are required, plus some copies.

3. Certificate of origin in original form, hand signed and stamped are required, plus some copies.

4. Insurance certificate: 2 originals hand signed and stamped are required, plus some copies.

5. Exporting country's customs extract copy.

6. Bill of lading original hand signed and stamped are required, plus some copies.

All these documents must exactly match on data and be veryfiable against the goods.

Consideration will then be given to admitting the goods into the country, which even with a local partner and a local freight forwarder is not easy. Be prepared for months of delay and unexplained costs.
