it's showing the pawn, where Bella started of and then the Queen, where she ends up
The chess pieces on the cover of Breaking Dawn (the 4th book to the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer) is basically a before and after picture in one photograph. The red pawn is what Bella saw herself as or what Stephenie saw Bella as and the pawn stands for weak and useless. But, when Bella is transformed to a vampire, she looks at herself as powerful, strong, beautiful, and can actually do something to make a real difference. So, since the red pawn is behind the white queen, it seems as though the red pawn is what she USED to be and since the queen is in front, that is what she is NOW.
I also think the choosing of the colors have something to do with it. My theory is that the red pawn is red because of blood throughout the body like how Bella was when she was human, she had blood pulsing through her body. But, now that she is a vampire, she has no blood which makes her pale or white, hence the color of the queen.
Hoped this helped! :)

because the red pawn is human Bella full o blood the white queen is strong vamp Bella
If you mean Twilight Saga, then Breaking Dawn
It meaqns Jacob changes into a wolf or a human
Well i can definitly answer this coming from a hudge twilight fan~ 1)Twlight-Apple- This means that the apple represents the forbidden fruit. it represents the forbidden love between Bella and Edward. 2)New Moon-Ribbon- This means that the relationship between Bella and edwrad is very close and that he runs away from her, in which the falling petal. 3)Eclipse-Ribbon- The tearing ribbon represents choice. Bella has to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob. she can't decide therefore the ribbon is tearing. 4)Breaking Dawn-Chess Peice-The red pawn in the background represents Bella as a human. she's weak, warm, and she blushes a lot. The white queen in the front represents Bella as a vampire. she's strong, cold, hard, and pale. it represents her transition into a new life as a vampire with Edward forever! I hope i could help with those if you have anymore questions please ask me! Thanks~
YES!!! (i don't know what you mean, though. . .)

Strictly speaking dawn is "l'aube". Il fait jour could mean dawn is breaking, or dawn has broken, it is daylight.
you mean breaking dawn and exploretalent.com
Neither do. Each player in chess has 16 pieces, which is probably what you mean, but that means there are 32 pieces on the board at the start. In checkers, each player has 12 pieces, so there are 24 pieces at the start of a game.
death
It means renee and esme
If by the next saga you mean breaking dawn then yes. She finally accepts at the end of eclipse and they get married at the beginning of breaking dawn
