We was a local child murderer, and heavily alledged child molester as well, so the parents of said children banded together and hunted him down when the courts released him on a technicality. They found him in a shack and surrounded it and then threw molotov cocktails inside where he burnt alive, but it is shown in The Final Nightmare that before he died, he was visited by three dream spirits of some kind that he made a deal with so that he could exact his revenge in death.
