When Ponyboy woke up he thought of how quiet the house was and how usually the T.V was on or someone was banging on the table.
Why does Ponyboy enjoy going to the movies alone?
Ponyboy goes to the movies alone because he can really get into the movie. When sodapop is with him soda goofs off too much so he can't understand it because he can't pay attention. And that is basically the same with all of the other greasers in their gang! Hope that helped!
