Caliban calls Stephano a god, because Stephano has introduced Caliban to alcohol.
Caliban. That's so obvious who doesnt know that!?
The witch who enslaved Ariel Caliban's mother
sure. Ariel is a gentle creature, I imagine her as a white short haired womanly creature, pale and with rosy lips. Caliban on the other hand is swarthy and misformed, I imagine him as a hunchback hairy man. A long beard and uncombed hair. Caliban, I imagine is wearing leather and fur. Ariel is probably wearing white robe, soft and fluttery. Ariel is airy, so she would walk swiftly, soft step, like a ballerina. Caliban is more earthy so I would think he would slither and slosh along. I hope I helped. Freya R. H.
A. Prospero knows that Ariel is technically free, but he uses manipulation and promises of freedom to maintain control over the spirit. In contrast, his relationship with Caliban is more contentious; he views Caliban as a rebellious servant who has betrayed him and treats him with disdain and punishment. This dynamic highlights Prospero's authoritative approach to his relationships, where he employs kindness and coercion with Ariel while exercising dominance and resentment towards Caliban.
Prospero and Ariel send spirits disguised as a pack of dogs to chase Caliban, Stephano, and Trinculo out of Prospero's cell.
"Caliban is harsh and coarse, while Ariel is polite and refined."
Ariel is willingly obedient, while Caliban is forced into obedience.
Ariel's movements are flowing and graceful, while Caliban is hunched over awkwardly(It might not be perfectly quoted, but choose the answer closest to this variant)
Ariel is treated with more respect because the king's men are afraid of him, while Caliban is treated with less dignity because people consider him a monster.
Caliban is kept in control by physical torture while Ariel is kept in control by mind munipulation
