Effect can mean:1, As a noun, the result of some other thing, called a cause. "sunburn is an effect of being out in the sun too much without protection."2. As a verb, to make something happen. "I'd like to know that girl and I'm going to effect it." Rare, and often confused with the verb "affect" which means something different.3. According to Merriam Webster effectiveness means: * producing a decided, decisive, or desired effect And According to Answers.com's Dictionary * Producing a strong impression or response; striking: gave an effective performance as Othello. But I believe that efectiveness means working hard and taking your time and trying your best to make it right.
