Giving birth can be painful but it pays off in the end
its like taking ur bottom lip and streching it over ur head to the back of ur neck!
It really hurt for the first baby but inproves for the second as the survix is already streched but it is worth it to have little boy or girl !! good Luck x

Men should not answer questions regarding childbirth.
The pain starts long before any "tearing" with contractions that serve to expand/dialate the cervix from being tightly closed to being open to approx 10 centimeters. There is some argument that we have genetically evolved in favor of painful childbirths because the pain causes women to seek assistance during childbirth, significantly lowering death rates of mothers and infants during the process.
It hurts because your cervix, which is at the end of the vagina and is the opening to the uterus, is dilating (opening). It then hurts because the vagina has to stretch wide enough for the baby to come out.
