From what has been reviewed, a third series may be out in unknown time, "The Death Note Another Note, The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases" series. The anime includes a main character we all know as L and a new character that we have never met before, BB or known as Beyond Birthday. He has never been revealed in the anime but now we get to see his true face in time.
Ryuk said in Death Note that any human using the Death Note cannot go to Heaven nor Hell. The human is sent to Mu instead. Mu is Japanese for Nothingness. In the epilogue, we see a new shinigami in the Shinigami Realm. There are several reasons to believe that is Light Yagami as a shinigami (thus making Mu the Shinigami Realm) but there is no firm proof.
In fact, yes! Remember when Rem (Er... Basically Light) killed L, right? Remember how Light sort of loomed over L like that? That is what exactly L did to Light when Light dies. But, one of the rules in the Death Note is that the person who uses the Death Note cannot go to Heaven nor Hell. So, many of the fans think that at the very, very last episode/epilogue of the show, they show Ryuk telling this other shinigami a story of Yagami Light. That shinigami, as many fans suggest, is Light himself, remaining in Purgatory forever as a shinigami, because of the red tie tied around his head (like the one Light has), and the jacket he wore was similar to the one Light also wore. At the very end, when the mysterious shinigami leaves Ryuk to go to the human world, Ryuk says, "Light".
It depends on whose side you're on. On one side Light is the antagonist because he is killing people. On the other side L is the antagonist because he's trying to stop the main character Light from making the world. It really depend on how you see the situation, and who you see is "justice." There's also discussion of Ryuk being the antagonist since he brought the Death Note to Earth and started everything.
Yes, You Can. But You Won't Know if They Have A Death Note Unless You Have The Eyes Of a Shinigami And If You Can't See They're Lifespan, Then They Have A Death Note. Another Way Is If You Have The Eyes Of A Shinigami And You See Another Shinigami Following That Person.
In Episode 24, Light gets the death note back and recovers his memories. He then kills Higuchi making the Death Note his again. But the original owner of the death note at that moment is Rem, so he has to touch the piece of paper from the Misa's notebook to be able to see Ryuk. Ryuk stays Misa's shinigami until Mello kidnaps Sayu, then Light temporally returns one of his notebooks to Ryuk, sends it to the police, and when Soichiro dies, Light is again the owner of one of Ryuk's notebooks.

Mello captures Takada and basically strips her naked to see if any pieces of the Death Note were on her. Takada had a piece of paper that was from the Death Note, and took it out as her back was faced to Mello (It was in her Bra). After Mello saw everything was off, he drove away with Takada in a truck. Takada sits in the back of the truck, panicks, and decides to write his name down in the piece of paper from the notebook. He then dies.
light is disgusted with all the crimes that happen in everyday life and thinks that by killing all people that have commited horrible crimes he will be making the world into a better place Actually the reason he began using the death note is because he was bored and wanted to see if it really worked.

Light got there before the rest of the task force and hid it on his body. (Agreed answer)Q: But in that case, how come we never see it? I only ever saw two Death Notes. One of them was Misa's and the other was the first one. What did Rem's look like?-one of the notes were fake and the real one was hid on his bodyQ: So the Deathnote cycle went like this:Ryuuk's stolen notebook goes to LightRem gives Gelous' notebook to MisaMisa gets caught and passes the Note to Light.Light reverses Rem and Ryuuk's attachments to the deathnotes.Rem gives the first note to Higuchi.Light gets the first note back.Misa gets the second note w/Ryuuk.L dies thanks to Rem writing in her own personal note (Third note in the series)Rem dies and Light gets the note and stashes it on his body.[second arc]The first note is kept securely stashed away.Misa kills people with the second note. The first note is stolen by mellow and used by Chief Yagami. The note is given back to the rightful owner.I loose track here. Help please. After Chief Yagami dies, Ryuk's stolen notebook is given back to its owner, Siddoh, like the previous person to answer said. Then, Rem's notebook is given to Siddoh, since Rem and Ryuk had switched. Now the Japanese Task Force has the first note Light used. Light tells Misa to send her note to Mikami, which she does, and she loses ownership.Mikami makes a fake notebook. Mikami brings the real notebook, which origionally was Misa's note, to the meeting between Light and Near.Near has replaced all the pages in the real notebook, without Mikami or Light's knowledge.Mikami writes in the fake notebook, thinking that Near and the Task Force will die, but they don't.Near pulls the real Notebook out of his shirt, and can see Ryuk, since it was Ryuk's after Ryuk switched. After Light dies, it is implied in the manga that Aizawa gave Near the first notebook from when Light was first Kira, and Near burned them both.It is unexplained how in the movie, only Misa looses her memories of the notebook when they are bured, while in the anime, no one loses their memories.I hope this answered your question, and if you have any other questions, feel free to let me knowBeyond's answer:Light managed to find the Death Note first among Rem's ashes, and tuck it into the back of his pants, then asking the rest of the residents currently searching for him to come into that room and see it's ashes/sand.Sofia's answer:If you see carefully you can see that light has already keep a piece of paper in his clock! That's why he has his memories all the time.I think it may be a possibility that light have keep more than 1 (little) paper for he's personal wishes!!!!How about that???But someone can say that the first time when light lost his memory has a piece of paper in his clock! It doesn't make sense!but maybe the paper was in his hands when Ryuk give the notebook to the other person.!But again the other pesron doesnt lost his memories.......What do you think???sid's answer:misa gave the death note to light an when misa got captured, she relinquished ownership the the note book an light gave it to rem.
there will not be u may see other stuff but it was just fan made but there is a deleted seine at the end when light becomes a shinigami but that's it.
