This is a very tricky question to answer without actually showing you but I'll do my best to explain. The first thing you should know is that if you do this improperly it can hurt your voice quite badly. So to produce a scream properly you first need to breath properly. You should breath with your stomach, not your chest because this allows you to fill your lungs completely. Second you should push with your diaphragm to make a noise. DO NOT concentrate the sound in your throat because this can ruin your voice. You may want to start out screaming quietly and as you get better increase the volume to reduce strain. If you feel this hurt or become uncomfortable in anyway you should immediately stop and take a brake. When I scream I sort of make a whisper sound and increase the amount of air by pushing with my diaphragm. This is very good for highs not so much for lows. I hope this helped you a bit.
There are various ways to show someone screaming. In a drawing, you would depict a wide open mouth. Typographically, you would use capital letters.
