What film has the highest on screen body count?

There are several films where all, or almost all of the population of Earth is killed - of recent releases, 'I am Legend' and 'Knowing' both had body counts round about the six billion mark.

Though, if you are looking for an on screen body count. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King had over 800 bodies. (not counting animals.)
