Simba defeats his uncle Scar in a fight and takes his place as the rightful king of Pridelands. In the very final scene, Simba and Nala's infant cub is presented to the kingdom. The cub's gender and real name for the movie alone has not been officially decided, as on the commentary track in 1995 and 2003 the creators called it just "Fluffy" and did not refer to its gender. In the official movie sequel "Simba's Pride" (1998) that cub is a daughter named Kiara even though they remade the ceremony scene and redesigned the cub's looks. (It being Kiara has been confirmed by an animator in a magazine interview, plus "Fluffy" was used as baby Kiara in the film's official trailer.)
