Robin was desperate to find a locket that she had buried at the the carousel when she was a teen. She had called Barney to help her but he decided to play laser tag instead. She called Ted, and he helped her find the empty box. As it rained, they held hands and had a sentimental moment. Little did they know, Barney had arrived as this was happening. During the wedding weekend, Barney confronts Ted about this, but they resolve the issue.
