Clementine, Kenny, Christa, Omid and Lilly are the only surviving central characters after season one of the games, so she deals with... a lot. It's a very, very depressing video game.
A lot, and I mean A LOT happens to her after shooting Lee and even before that, so explaining it all would take a long time.
