After his defeat at the tower of heaven, his injured body was found by Brain of Oracion Seis. He was healed by Wendy, and helped Fairy Tail defeat Oracion Seis and seal the magic Nirvana forever. However after this he was arrested and has been imprisoned.
After the timeskip, it is shown that he was broken out of prison by Ultear and Meldy, and the three now work against dark guilds. He is currently helping out Fairy Tail in the grand tournament, taking the place of his Edolas counterpart, Mystogan, who returned home in an earlier arc.
