No, not in canon/official story, as in in the movies. But only in the book universe of the franchise. Ever since the first movie was released, there's been a son in the book universe, but the first film's makers confirmed on the commentary track of the 1995 laserdisc and the 2003 DVD that the cub at the end of the film is Fluffy as in has no real name and no gender, resulting in its most official gender and real name to be the girl Kiara from the official movie sequel The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. To the film itself they simply redesigned the cub and its ceremony. Doing that is called retroactive continuity which is very common in works of fictional series. But the sequel's makers did use "Fluffy" for baby Kiara in their official movie trailer--which was in order to make the point that in the movie universe the cub at the end of the first film is indeed Kiara and no one else.
In the movies Kiara is Simba's first and only child. In the books Simba's first and only child is usually a son - as in, there are books wherein it is said to be a girl. And some books wherein the gender isn't confiemd. As in for the book universe, it totally depends on the author's choice. The books are only a collection of outsider-written "fanfiction", approved by the marketting device.
