okay, so, she stayed in Israel because she felt she couldn't trust tony, and she took michaels place on the kedone unit, but then she was captured and beaten. and the team back in dc figured out where she was because saleem (the guy who was holding her hostage) Drank Caf-Pow (kind of ironic twist) So then tony, mcgee, and gibbs went to Somalia to rescue her, and there were some very good tony/ziva moments. (This episode is a MUST see) then they went back home and the entire office burst into applause because ziva was back. To me it seems like her and tony sort of bonded in that hellhole.
