Daffodil was probably given away to a new owner or also probably died, somewhere between Clifford the Big Red Dog and Clifford's Puppy Days. Daffodil does appear in the prequel show, Clifford's Puppy Days, before Emily Elizabeth and her family moved to Big Bird Island, because Clifford grew too big to fit inside the apartment building. Clifford's old friends include a dog named Jorge, owned by Nina, a bird named Norville. two cat twins named Flo and Zo, a family of mice named The Sidarsky Family, and Daffodil. Clifford's new friends include T-Bone, owned by a police officer name Sherriff Louis, Cleo, a poodle owned by Mrs. Honeywell, and Mack, owned by Jetta.
