When Jim died Melinda was already pregnant with their son. When he died, rather than going into the light, he decided to take over a man named Sam's body when Sam went into the light. Although he temporarily loses his memory, he eventually regains it and he marries Melinda again and raises Aiden as their son.

∙ 11y agoMelinda and Jim have a son who they bame Aiden. As he gets older his parents soon realize that like Melinda he can see ghost. The type of ghost he sees are called The Shinies. He has to learn how to live life with his abilities. Later on a group of ghosts who are all kids called the Shadows go after the Shinies. Shinies are good and Shadows are evil. Aiden helps lead the Shinies in an attempt to destroy the Shadows. He succeeds and tells his mother that he is proud that he is strong and brave like Melinda
