What happened to the Titanic at 1245 am?

Well, the Titanic crashed because the ship ran into an iceberg. People were skeptical because the ship was supposed to be unsinkable, but that didn't last for long. The ship ended up sinking at around 2:30am in the morning of April 15th, 1912.

Her forward bulkheads filled with water, even though the watertight doors were closed. The ship sank deeper into the water, and lowered the lifeboats. By the time all the lifeboats were filled, the ship split in half between the 3rd and 4th smokestack. The bow dragged the stern into an upright position, where it pivoted and slowly sunk after the bow. The estimated loss was at more than 1100, with about 700-900 surviors. The remains of the passengers and crew were picked up by the Carpathia. The Titanic itself dissapeared at 2:31 AM. Much more intresting than silly Tarus ( The last person wrote about astrogly for some reason.), and sad too.
