After killing Lincoln, John Wilkes Booth fled Washington to his farm in the Shenandoah Valley where his wife Izola nursed him back to health. After Booth's leg healed he moved around place to place. In 1883, he found his way to India where he wrote a will to free up the money held in a US bank that was inaccessible to him. That money was deposited under Booth's stage name John Wilkes. After writing the will, he faked John Wilkes' death.
After a long investigation by ex-president Ulises S. Grant, ex-General Lou Wallace and an ex-secret-service-agent by the name of Andrew Potter, they found the will to be valid and paid the money to Booth's heirs. Booth then found his way to Oklahoma where he died in 1903.

No...near the end of the season Booth confesses to Bones that he loves her, but she says she's too afraid of opening herself up to him, and they agree to just continue working together. End of the season they end up parting ways for a time.
They more than likely lost their jobs.
Oh good! You felt it too? I thought i was going crazy.
Answer There is much controversy whether David E George was actually John Wilkes Booth. Autopsy proved that John Booth has a pin in his leg (broken earlier in his life) and also dental records (there are no indications as to where John Wilkes Booth is buried. On the other side of the coin there were just too many similarities and too much David E George knew and many of them believed he was John Wilkes Booth. David E George's body was used in circus' for spectators and the myth would have it that any circus owner that owned the mummified corpse lost everything they owned and those that transported the body had bad luck or even death. Myth or reality? For more information on David E. George and John St. Helen see the last chapter of Lincoln, Davis, and Booth.

Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theater, carried across the street to a boarding house, and attended to by three doctors who happened to be at the play. Lincoln was laid cat-corner on a bed upstairs because he was too long for it. He died there early the next morning. Not many people know that John Wilkes-Booth would not only have been tried for treason and murder, but also for conspiracy. He and two other men were actually supposed to simultaneously kill Lincoln, the Vice-President and the Secretary of State. The other men failed by ineptitude or cowardice.
Booth was a supporter of the south and didn't believe what Lincoln was doing was civil. He organized a plan to take out three major leaders of the union including Lincoln. Why at Ford's Theatre? That is where Lincoln was going to be and Ford's Theatre was Booth's home turf. For an assassin, having the home field advantage greatly improved the chances of success.
