When Edward leaves Bella, she seeks friendship from Jacob, and they spend a lot of time toghether. This consequently affects their relationship, and it is revealed in Eclipse that they fall in love, Jacob first with Bella, and then Bella realises that the feeling is mutual, although Jacob loves her more than she loves him. During the course of new moon, the relationship takes some sharp turns, due to Jacobs discovery that he is a werewolf. However, they soon overcome this after Jacob tells Bella without actually revealing it, so as to protect the pack of wolves. Jacob also unwittingly helps Bella to do dangerous things, which makes Bella hear Edward's voice. This is part of the reason she spends a lot of time with him, but it is also because she likes to be around him because it is simple and easy and he makes her happy (she calls him her own personal sun).

∙ 14y agoThey are destined to be together, to have a love like Bella and Edwards. From the books end Renesseme will be the same age as Jacob and stay that age forever since she is immortal. Jacob, as long as he continues to phase he will age very slowly or not at all. Jacob will be like a big brother to Renesseme until she is of age.. Edward commends Jacob for not even thinking about it when they mention Renesseme reaching her full age in a few short years.
