What happens in Smallville season 5?

In the 7th season of Smallville, Clark Kent had learned more about himself and his Kryptonian background as well as his destiny. He battled the last Phantom Bizarro which took on his form and he freed his Kryptonian cousin Kara from 18 years in suspended animation.

Clark reunited with and started dating Lana Lang again. She divorced Lex and returned to Smallville. Lana began a non-profit organization called the Isis Fountation with the intent to help meteor-infected individuals however Lana constantly battled conflicting feelings within herself, fueled by anger and hurt over her relationship with Lex. Lana fell victim to evil supercomputer Brainiac, who put her in a painful coma for several weeks. Upon waking, Lana left Smallville and Clark.

Lex learned about the existence of Veritas, based on the theory of the Traveler, a powerful being that would either save the world or destroy it. Lex relentlessly hunted the truth: he continued several controversial research projects and he purchased the Daily Planet to control information until it led him to eventually murder his father Lionel who was simultaneously trying to protect the Traveler.

Chloe was able to master her mysterious meteor power, a form of empathic healing. Chloe's career also hit a bump with the hiring of new editor Grant Gabriel. Grant hired her cousin Lois Lane but it was revealed that Grant was actually Lex Luthor's cloned brother Julian, Julian was the baby brother of his that his Mom had killed. Chloe and Jimmy got back together but Jimmy became entangled in Lex's machinations. After Jimmy refuses to comply with Lex's demands, Lex had Chloe arrested for illegal hacking and her fate had remained unknown however it's revealed in the Season 8 premiere that they weren't real police, that Lex had some of his people take her into custody in an attempt to use her newfound powers for their own personal gain.

Clark also had to deal with the return of Brainiac who revealed to Lex that Clark was the Traveler. Finally learning the truth about his former friend, Lex and Clark faced off in his Fortress of Solitude. Lex believed he had fulfilled his perceived destiny to destroy the Traveler and protect the Earth as the Fortress crumbled around them however in the Season 8 premiere it's revealed that Clark survives, he is just stripped of his powers.

Okay - here is what happened in Season 6 of Smallville.

First Clark meets Raya (Jor-El's assistant) while inside the Phantom Zone. She assists him in escaping the Phantom Zone. We see a return appearance of Nam-Ek and Aethyr, Zod's warriors from Season 5's "Arrival." Upon escaping the Phantom Zone the other Phantoms escape. Clark succeeds in stopping Zod by using the Crystal to absorb Zod's spirit back into it.

Clark learns Super Breath.

We're introduced to Oliver Queen aka "The Green Arrow." Oliver begins a relationship with Lois Lane. Lex and Oliver went to boarding school together when they were younger so they're well aware of one another.

There's a special episode called "Justice" which features the return of Bart Allen (from Season 4's "Run"), Arthur Curry (from Season 5's "Aqua) and Victor Stone (from Season 5's "Cyborg")

Oliver has an operation going on in order to stop Lex Luthor's world wide Level 33.1 project. He gave nicknames to the 3 heroes including Clark. Bart's nickname is Impulse. Arthur's nickname is Aquaman. Victor's nickname is Cyborg. Clark's nickname is Boy Scout.

We meet the Martian Manhunter for the first time - a visitor from the planet Mars. He has basically the same powers as Clark does - his only weakness however is fire and he also has a fondness for Oreo cookies for whatever reason. One of his famous powers however is that he's telepathetic so he's capable of reading minds. He and Jor-El are allies so they're well aware of one another.

During the season it's discovered that Chloe is a Kryptonite-infected person. Lana learns about Clark's powers but nothing else. Lex got Lana pregnant and he asks her to marry him. She accepts but on the day of the wedding she wants to back out of it but Lionel steps in and threatens her that if she calls it off then he'll hurt Clark since he mentions how he knows Clark's weakness.

A Phantom is running like nuts all over Smallville. After it injures the Martian Manhunter it eventually runs into Clark. When it touches Clark it replicates Clark's appearance. His name from the comic books is called Bizarro. Lois is investigating Reeves Dam and she sees human-looking bodies inside a room. One of Lex Luthor's guards confronts her and fires a bullet at her chest. She calls Chloe. Soon afterwards Chloe is seen crying and her teardrop drops on Lois and then Lois is fine and wide awake and Chloe is seen knocked out completely unconscious on the floor. Lana tells Lex that she's leaving him. Lana tells Clark that she's leaving Lex. Clark tells her how he's from another planet - Krypton to be exact. Lana explains to him how she has to leave and explains about what happened with Lionel. She had already told Lionel that their agreement was over. We later see her getting into her car and then it blows up.

The police show up and arrest Lex.

In Smallville's 8th season, the Martian Manhunter helps restore Clark's powers by flying him directly into the sun's rays however by doing so, the Martian Manhunter loses his own abilities. Chloe accepts Jimmy's marriage proposal. Clark Kent finds himself trapped in the Phantom Zone for one episode and discovers the location of Kara, his cousin. Due to Chloe's Brainiac enhanced powers, she's able to open up a portal so that Clark and Kara can escape the Phantom Zone.

Brainiac begins erasing Chloe's memories and changing it into a Kryptonian language. Clark takes her to the Fortress of Solitude and has Jor-El remove Brainiac from her but also requests that he removes Chloe's memory of her knowing Clark's secret.

A monster that does nothing but kill has found his way into the Kent Barn and he has injured Jimmy while he kidnaps Chloe and takes her to the Fortress which is where Brainiac re-infects her at.

The Persuader appears and 3 members of the Legion of Superheroes appear to stop him and to send him back to their time and before they are about to leave, they discover the Crystal that has smashed which prevents the ability of defeating Brainiac from the host he is currently is. The Legion is adamant that the only way to save the world from Brainiac is to kill Chloe however Clark refuses and requests them to work together in order to suck Brainiac out using their own powers which works. The Legion decide to take Brainiac back with them to their own time.

Chloe uses Black Kryptonite to split apart Davis and Doomsday. Clark succeeds in burying Doomsday underground. Davis kills Jimmy out of anger and Jimmy kills Davis as well. The Kryptonian Orb that Lex Luthor once found in his Mansion is now in the possession of Tess and it has released a younger version of General Zod.

Lana marries Lex, figures out Clark's secret and then uncovers a deception that caused her to agree to the marriage in the first place.

Martha Kent also moved away to pursue her political career. Clark met Raya, a Phantom Zone inhabitant who was Jor-El's assistant on Krypton. She helped Clark escape the Phantom Zone but in the process the Phantoms escaped as well. Clark defeated the Zod-inhabited Lex and recaptured the spirit with the use of his Phantom Zone Crystal. Another new character - Jimmy Olsen is introduced to the show. He and Chloe Sullivan knew each other and they started to date again. He learns a new ability - Super Breath. A new character is introduced - Oliver Queen as the Green Arrow. Clark and Oliver discover each other's secret identities. It's learned that Lex and Oliver knew each other from their childhood. Back then Oliver was the bully and Lex was the one who basically got picked on. Raya returned but she was killed by Baern, a Phantom but not before she helped Clark with reactivating the Fortress. Lana finds out that whatever Clark is hiding that Chloe is hiding it too.

Oliver recruits Clark, Bart Allen aka Impulse, Victor Stone aka Cyborg and Arthur "AC" Curry aka Aquaman to help in their destruction of a Level 33.1 factility that they had discovered that Lex had created. With Chloe's Watchtower guidance, they succeed in destroying the factility. Lana sneaks into Clark's bedroom and goes through all of his stuff including all of his drawers. She finds the Kryptonite necklace she once had. It's discovered that Chloe is a Kryptonite-infected person. Lana is dating Lex and she's apparently pregnant. Lex proposed to her and she accepted. She was about to stand him up at the wedding until Lionel threatened her and told her that he would do serious damage to Clark since he mentions to her that he knew his weakness and that he would act on it if she broke up with Lex. It's discovered that Lex is building an army of soldiers. The latest Phantom has appeared, a being with unbelievable power that was unstable. He damaged the Martian Manhunter, who was another new character introduced to the show. The Manhunter is an alien super hero from the planet Mars. He knows of Clark's secret. He and Jor-El were partners as well.

Lana told Clark that she's leaving Lex. She also tells him she knows about his powers. He tells her his secret. She tells Lex their marriage is over. He hits her. She runs away and she tells Lionel that their agreement is over. The Phantom copies the appearance of Clark, he has all of his memories and powers but not all of his weaknesses. Kryptonite increases his strength. The Reeves Dam breaks during the battle between Clark and the Phantom. Lana goes into her SUV and it blows up. Lex is arrested due to being suspected of being responsible for the death of Lana Lang. Lois investigates the Reeves Dam and discovers that Lex has an army of lifeless bodies being made - likely for his army of super soldiers. She's shot by 1 of his Security Guards. She bleeds to death but before she passes out, she calls Chloe. Chloe makes it there and she cries over Lois and her tear causes Lois to be resurrected and then we see that Chloe has passed out. That's pretty much everything that happened in Season 6.

firstly we saw lana die n Lionel witnessed the death when lanas car blew up but wot u didnt c was a truck drove passed as the car blew up and lana jumped on to it so Lionel assumed that lana died soo he told clark but clark wouldn't believe him so the next episode was when lana turned up at the barn and clark was fixing his tractor then shelby the dog barked clark thought that it was kara some other girl then lana touched clark on the shoulder and clark realised that it was the love of his life yep it was indeed lana so he turned round dropped his spanner on the floor and gave the love of his life a big hug. i really hope that this helps u 2 answer ur question

After Clark sends Zod's Disciples packing, he eventually meets a Professor at his college named Milton Fine however it is revealed that Milton Fine was actually Brainiac, a Kryptonian artifact intelligence that was just using Clark in order to get him to release General Zod from the Phantom Zone. Clark stops Zod's release and defeats Brainiac for the time being but Brainiac returns and succeeds in his Plan B option of releasing Zod from the Phantom Zone but injecting Zod's soul into Lex Luthor's own body.
