What happens in in episode 20 of inuyasha?

Basically, it was after Inuyasha sent Kagome back to her own time 'for good.' Kaede told Miroku and Inuyasha about Onegumo as Kagome tried to go back to having a normal life. Ryokan, a demon scent by Naraku, attacked Inuyasha, still wounded from his fight with Sesshomaru, as Kagome went on a date with a boy from her school. Kagome senced that Inuyasha in trouble, left her date, and somehow managed to go through the well.

This episode is mainly centered around Miroku and Sango.

Inuyasha and the gang are traveling and come to this village. Miroku loses his wallet, then meets a woman from the village who tells him that all the men are disappearing. She also says things about the Princess in the mountains who was taking the men away. Miroku agrees to help.

The gang is in the mountains. Miroku stumbles across the entrance to the Princess's palace. He hands some beads to Sango and then runs in. Miroku arrives at the palace, but Sango, who followed him, ends up in a grassy field. Sango meets some creepy men who tell her about the Princess and how she steals men's souls. Sango rushes off to find Miroku.

Meanwhile, Miroku is busy drinking and talking to the princess. Right when the two are going to kiss, Sango runs into the room. Seeing the pair together, Sango gets very ticked off.

The princess is shocked that a woman is there and turns into a demon. Miroku and Sango fight it, and Sango's boomerang gets cracked in the process. They defeat the demon and Miroku hugs the Princess's soul and says "you must have been lonely" and then he holds a funeral.

Later, Sango was feeling gloomy, so Miroku went to go cheer her up. Samgo blushes when Miroku thanks her for worrying about him, but the romantic moment is ruined when Miroku gropes Sango's butt(again). She slaps him hard.

During a raid on a castle, Koga's wolves are killed by a mysterious woman, who lures Koga to the castle with a poisoned jewel shard. When Koga finds Inuyasha amongst the fallen wolves, they begin a duel to the death while Miroku and Sango enter the castle to fight another demon puppet of Naraku.

To sum it up, they shelter in a temple or something, but the owner has been possessed by a spider demon thing. Then Inuyasha transforms into his human form, which he does on every new moon. Then they have to fight the spider demon thing without Inuyasha's powers. He gets poisoned, and Miyoga sucks out the poison but not before Inuyasha and Kagome have a little "bonding time," where he says some weird things like "you actually smell nice."

Earlier on, Naraku's offspring has been chopping of heads of youkais to gather information of the borderline between the 2 worlds and in this episode, Inuyasha and the group comes upon a girl who turns out to be an otter youkai (around shippo's age) whose father has been a victim too. She only has his head and is trying to look for his body to put it back together in hopes bringing him back. Feeling sympathetic towards her because he knows how it feels to lose a father, he volunteers Inuyasha to help her. Together, they all set out to look for his body. A village fight catches their attention and they go to investigate. They soon find his body in a desolated field not far off. Surprisingly, Sesshoumaru is next to him. Inuyasha demands to know why he is there, but as usual he does not care to answer. They try to piece the father back together, but it does not work. Kagome pleads and Shippo begs Sesshoumaru to wield his tesseiga, which can bring people back from the dead to save the father's life, but he refuses. But as he turns to walk away the tesseiga vibrates and pulses, telling him to save the dad's life. Feeling confused about why, Sesshoumaru does it anyway and soon the father's life is revived. Upon waking, he tells them of the place where his head had flown in when he had been dead. It was a place full of mist, other flying youkai heads and a big skeleton. This seems to be the place where the last shard is and it seems like Inuyasha has been in this place before too. The last of the of the shard is at Inuyasha's Father's grave when they got there Kagome sence the shard when the gang follow they saw half breed girl and she haves the shard Inuyasha said who are you then the girl said huh you dont know me lil brother Inuyasha was shock she said she was in a journey when she came back she saw father dead then there was a barrier that just come that only me cant get out

"Is that so" Inuyasha said Then the she said go away Kagome said why Then she said Go away all of you then Inuyasha sisters eyes got redder then Naraku came you were controling her this hole time Inuyasha said Inuyash was trying to hurt Naraku But his sister is blocking his ataks Inuyasha does not want to hurt her but planing how to save her sister now its Inuyasha and his sister

Shippo find InuYasha and tells him that the others have been captured. After defeating the soldiers, InuYasha realizes he was deceived by Kagura. Meanwhile, The Infant orders Kagura to implant a tainted shard of the Shikon Jewel into Kagome. However, Kagome has regained control of her mind but not of her body. Kagome must overcome her bitterness towards Kikyo to regain control from The Infant. The rest of the protagonists find her, and they interrogate The Infant as to being the human heart of Naraku. The Infant departs after repelling InuYasha's attempted attack. InuYasha later discovers how dangerous his devotion to Kikyo is for Kagome.
