What happens in ncis season 6 episode 1?

Tony opens a letter that's sealed with a kiss and releases a powder into the ncis office. Then tony breathed in the powder and was infected with the plague. This plague has been gentically altered to not be affected by anti-biodicts. as tony is in iscolation kate tries to stay by his side during this ordeal, tony about to die gibbs rushes in and tells tony that he will not die, then he hits tony on the head and says did you hear me you will not die

Coming to work for the first day since he got the plague, Tony tells Gibbs that he feels 100%. The team then go to investigate two sailors who were shot in their car. At the scene of the crime, a snake crawls around Kate's leg and Tony says that he thinks it is poisonous. He gets it off of her and McGee says that it was just a corn snake (not poisonous) and that Tony knew that. Kate then kicks Tony who falls to the ground. McGee has turned the key half way to open the car boot when Tony notices there is a bomb. He takes hold of the key and tells Kate and Mcgee to run up the hill because he's a lot faster and will make it. Then just as McGee and Kate get to the top and see Gibbs, the the bomb goes off and Gibbs, Kate and McGee are thrown to the ground unhurt. A few seconds later Kate gets up and yells to Tony. Tony comes up the hill saying: "Boss you know how I said I felt 100% this morning? I was lying". In the autopsy room, Ducky is checking Tony out and Kate says that she should just take him home and get him into bed and Tony assures her that he is absolutely okay with that idea. Later on Gibbs comes back from going out, Tony says: "You'll never guess who's back in town!" Gibbs replies: "Ari" Tony then inquires why. Gibbs responds: "To kill me." Tony asks how he knows and Gibbs relates that he had coffee with him and that Ari had attempted to kill him. Later, Ari kills Kate in the last 30 seconds after Tony, Gibbs and Kate believe they have won a shoot-out

While on Air Force One, a Navy Commander dies, forcing an emergency landing in Wichita. The NCIS Major Case Response Team travels to Wichita to take jurisdiction over the investigation, but are eventually forced into a joint investigation with the FBI and Secret Service. Working with Special Agent Caitlin "Kate" Todd of the Secret Service, the NCIS team is tasked with discovering what happened and why. Caitlin Todd resigns from the Secret Service once the investigation concludes, and is offered a job as an NCIS field agent. ( wikipedia XD ) So in other words Kate looses her job and Gibbs offers her one at Ncis. :]

Season Two has a lot of great episodes! The most notable things that happen are that Special Agent Timothy McGee joins the team in the first episode, after making several guest appearances over the course of Season One.

In "SWAK", Tony gets the plague; this is something widely talked about in fanfiction.

In the episode "Twilight", Ari Haswari, a Season One villain, returns. Near the end of the episode, after a warehouse raid seemed to have ended badly, he murders Kate from a sniper's nest a building over. This is also how Season Three opens.

After Director Vance split up the team and the end of Season 5, Tony was sent to be an Agent Afloat on board a Naval ship. Ziva's liaison contract between NCIS and Mossad was terminated, and she went on an undercover mission in Morocco where she was in a bomb blast. I don't know what happened to McGee, and Gibbs was assigned a new team of slow moving, dim-witted agents who couldn't cope with his ways. The team is reunited though :)
