What happens in the film the hole?

Up is about an old man who loses his wife, one morning a retirement home bus comes to get him, at the same time does a boy scout. Carl (old man) goes to leave the house when he plays a trick and releises thousands of balloons attatched to his chimany which takes the wooden house UP, the boy scout had hidden on the porch during the event and was now part of it. They arrive at a land in the sky where a famous pilot is there with his blimp and dogs. A colourful bird also followed along with the young boy, turns out that the pilot had searched his whole life for this bird and pursues them for it. At the end of the story the pilot falls and obviously dies, Carl leaves his home on the edge of paradise falls where his diseesed wife wished to live, hope this helps :)
