What happens in the season 5 finale of NCIS?

This is a very intense season, mainly for Tony and Ziva.

Ziva is very mysterious in this season, as she has many secrets. In the beginning there is a mole at NCIS and it turns out to be the newly interned Agent Lee, who was later shot by Gibbs in a pivotal episode. At the beginning of the season we see that there is another man in the room with Ziva when she is talking to Gibbs.

Throughout the season we also saw her go back to Israel and saw a picture (twice) of a mysterious man. At the end of the season, her loyalty to NCIS is tested due to her relationship with assassin boyfriend Michael Rivkin. When Tony finds out about her boyfriend he gets suspicious and after a confrontation and fight, kills Rivkin in self-defense. In the end, Ziva, Tony, Vance and Gibbs go to Israel to answer to Mossad for Rivkin's death. In a cliffhanger ending, Gibbs leaves Ziva in Israel after she asks him to choose between she and Tony.

In a cliffhanger ending, we see Ziva being tortured and interrogated by Muslim terrorists.

Tony killed Michael Rivkin, who was Ziva's secret lover. The team (Vance, Gibbs, Tony, Ziva) went to Israel to deal with the Mossad leader (Ziva's father). Ziva decided to stay in Israel without saying goodbye to anyone but Gibbs. Then, it ended with a scene of Ziva being tortured by someone and her face was very swollen.

The start of season 7 picks of from where it left of, from season 6 episode 25 'Aliyah' (season finale).

Gibbs leaves Ziva behind in Israel and the team (Vance,Tony and Gibbs) head back to D.C without her.

The last scene of that episode shows Ziva tied up to a chair and she has been beaten up. A soldier eneters and says 'Tell me everything you know about NCIS', leaving it at a huge cliffhanger.

Season 7 starts with the episode 'Truth or Consquences' - the hunt for Ziva's replacement begins, and the rest of them have to go back to work with the past still weighing heavily on their minds.

The team's plan to go and save Ziva goes succesfully and now Ziva is back on the team.

When she does come back there is noticable tension from her and Tony, also Abby shouts at Ziva for thinking that he was jealous and that's why he killed Rivkin. After that they hug and Abby tells her that she missed her.

After a conversation with Tony, Ziva forgives him and gives him a kiss on the cheek (At this point Tiva fans will be cheering and going aww!)

Other thing that happen during season 7

~Ziva quits Mossad, and wants to be a Special Agent at NCIS.

~Tony's father Anthony DiNozzo Sr. comes to D.C and he gets involved with a case concerning an assassination plot against a prince. We learn more about Tony and his father's life and that they havn't talked in years. We learn it that episode that Gibbs think's very highly of Tony.

~Gibbs has a mother-in-law (former mother-in-law)

~Abby knows that Gibbs killed the Mexican drug dealer (the one that killed his wife Shannon, and his daughter Kelly)

The end of season 7 is episode 'Rule fifty One' where Ziva becomes an American Citizen, and Gibbs heads to Mexico to face his demon.

Last scene Paloma goes into Jackson's (Gibb's father) shop and he askes if he can help her. Previously she told Gibbs that she will kill his whole team and the ones he loves starting with his father Jackson Gibbs....

Reunion" September 29, 2009 (2009-09-29) The team investigates the bizarre death of a Marine, to which his friends may be linked; Gibbs is given the final word on Ziva's future with NCIS.
