Why was the Gilmore Girls canceled?
Gilmore Girls was cancelled because in the last season the show lost more than half their viewers! its in their contract that if viewers go down past a certain percentage they have to end the show! i think you can join me in hoping that they get back in the right state of mind and bring the show back! The actress Alexis Bledel was tired of doing the show in the season before last but was convinced by others to stay and do one final season. There was talk of doing a spin off show with Christopher and Lorelai and Luke are stuck in a love triangle and eventually they have a child, Rory was to go to work as a Foreign Correspondent and was never there.

Rory is proposed to by Logan, and she denys because she had landed her dream job in Ohio, and Logan was successfull in his career in san francisco, Longan pleeds that it be now or never, and when Rory says not now, Logan says never, and they break-up! The final scence concluding all of the episodes, is Luke opening the dinner extra early for the girls to have a last famous Gilmore girls morning breakfast, right before Rory leaves for Ohio, and her and Loreila will officially be sepertaed, far away, for the first time in Rory's life.
