Nancy decides the only way to get rid of Freddy is to pull him into the real world, the same way he pulls them into his nightmares, so she falls asleep with Quentin's assurance that he will wake her if she shows signs of stress while sleeping, but Quentin (the idiot) falls asleep as well and Freddy almost kills him, but Nancy gets there in time and he goes in pursuit of her, cause she's his favourite. He then proceeds to chase her and send her into confusing realites (such as her suddenly going from the boiler room to her house and hiding in a closet with Freddy outside, only for him to be INSIDE the closet with her, to her going into a hallway that disappears beneath her and turns into a hallway filled with blood which she has to crawl through, i know, disgusting) when she is suddenly forced down onto a bed wearing a dress she wore as a kid. She can't move and Freddy begins acting seductively, lifting her dress up, saying pedophilic stuff, etc. Quentin tries to wake Nancy up, but he can't as she is too deep in sleep due to her staying awake for so long. He then grabs adrenalin (he stole it from the hospital) and injects it into Nancy's heart. Nancy pulls Freddy into the real world from the dreamworld and they begin to fight. Just as Freddy's about to kill Quentin, Nancy chops of his bladed glove and slices his throat, then sets the place on fire. Quentin and Nancy think its over, Nancy goes home with her mom. Her mom bends down in front of a mirror and when she gets back up, Freddy's in the mirror. Nancy begins screaming as Freddy breaks the mirror, kills Nancy's mom and pulls her back into the mirror.
And that's how the movie ends.
