Usually anything below 5'6" is considered to be average. A girl gets freakishly tall once she reaches 5'10" and up.

Though it depends on her age and friends, 5'9" and up is considered tall for a girl who is in her mid-to-late teens or an adult, and spends a lot of time around men.

Though, if she has really short female friends, "tall" can be as low as 5'7" compared to them, as the average female height is 5'4.5".

Average height for a female in the US/Canada is about 5'4" for all women, but about 5'5" for women in their 20s. So 5'6"+ is tall for an older woman, and 5'7"+ is tall for a young woman. I'd consider 5'10" or more as "very tall".

5'8" (172.5 cm) and above for any fully grown adult woman. Also, most supermodels are between 5'9" and 5'11". If you want to compare to a male's height, then add five inches. So a 5'8" woman would be the same as a 6'1" man.
