All trees have the same probability of having a Munchlax. Wurmple appears 30% of the time, Cascoon/Silcoon (depending on your version) appears 15% of the time, Combee appears 20%, Aipom, Burmy, and Cherubi are 10% each, Heracross is 4%, Munchlax is 1%.
All Pokemon (other then munchlax) have the same probiblity of being caught. Roughly 14% for each Pokemon other than Munchlax, which is 2%. It also depends on what time of day it is, so I have been told. Apparently, Muchlax are most comman at the ironworks place tree and are ment to be found at roughly 11pm, so to get it like that, smear honey on a tree at 5pm (because it takes 6 hours for a rare Pokemon to come, after that 6 hours only normal Pokemon come).
