I think you are confusing the word "curvise" with "Cyrillic". Curvise is simply another term for handwriting -- letters are connected. An example, you are using curive writing when you sign your name. The opposite of curvise is printing where each letter is separate from the other letters. "Roman style" and cursive are the same thing. Cyrillic, the word I think you meant, is the name of the slavic alphabet used in places like Russian.

In Writing Task 1 (IELTS General), there are three types of letters: formal letter. semi-formal letter. informal letter (also known as a personal letter)
One disadvantage to writing a letter is the fact that you can't include multimedia in the letter. However, letters are very personal.
Personal letters differ from business letters in the tone and content. Personal letters are very informal in the use of grammar and vocabulary. It is written in a personal style. There are no specifications for the content or a personal letter, any topic of interest to you and your recipient is acceptable and any amount of details or anecdotes can be used. Business letters needs to be written with higher standards, a more formal grammatical structure, and standardized vocabulary in a professional tone. The content should be focused on the outcome desired, the purpose of the letter, with enough information to achieve that goal without going off target. A business letter should be concise, to the point.
The two main formats for writing letters are block format and modified block format. In block format, the entire letter is left-justified with no indentation for paragraphs. In modified block format, the sender's address, date, and closing are right-justified, while the rest of the letter is left-justified.
the different types of writing are:Narrative: Tells a story of a real or fictional experience or tells a story based on a real or imagined eventExpository:is writing that is designed to convey information or explain what is difficult to understand.Persuasive: Writer tries to convince the reader to accept a certain point of view or to take a specific actionFiction and non-fiction.
The main difference is that personal letters are very informal in grammar and the vocabulary is much simpler and usually friendly, thus very personal in style. A business letter has much higher standards, formal grammatical structure, and standardized vocabulary (to convey exact meanings).Often business people and corporations have example letters indicating the level of formal style approved and in use by the business world. For example, a newspaper would have a Style Book that its writers and editors are expected to follow and comply with. There is a difference in the personal nature of the letter. A boss expects a professional and formal tone; a grandmother expects an affectionate and personal tone.
