"Stargate SG-1" is a Science Fiction television series that premiered in 1997 and is a spin-off of the 1994 film "Stargate." The show follows a military team, led by Colonel Jack O'Neill, as they use a network of ancient alien devices called Stargates to explore other planets, confront alien threats, and seek knowledge about the universe. It blends elements of adventure, mythology, and drama, while developing a rich narrative over its ten-season run. The series gained a dedicated fanbase and expanded into additional spin-offs and media.
