Then she starts her freshman year of high school, where she is in the marching band. She meets the school slut, Adrian who despises her because Ricky (Adrian's boyfriend) got Amy pregnant. Amy soon gets into a relationship with Ben. Then Amy goes through the 9 months of being pregnant. During this time, the school goody-goody, Grace, a very faithful Christian, wants to wait for marriage to have sex, but then Grace loses her father who is a doctor in a plane crash. She thinks his death is her fault because she intentionally wanted to have sex with her football playing boyfriend, Jack. Then Amy has her baby and she and Ben break up after being together 9 months. Then the whole story begins because Amy gets into a big fight with Ricky about the baby and then they go to court. Then the baby chooses to be with Amy and that's basically where the whole story left off.
