It is a show on Disney channel about two teenagers and a little brother (who is about 12 on the show), and they are all young wizards. When they all become older, the parents will pick the one who gets to keep the powers. (Their dad gave up his to marry their mortal mom.) Their names in the show are Justin (boy) who is the oldest, Alex (girl) who is the second oldest and Max (boy) who is the youngest. Justin is played by David Henrie, Alex is played by Selena Gomez, and Max is played by Jake T Austin.

It was released on Family Channel in Canada on October 26, 2007, and aired on Disney Channel UK on November 3, 2007. The series focuses on the three Russo children who on the surface seem to be normal teens, but are actually wizards in training. Wizards of Waverly Place is the first Disney sitcom to feature simple computer-generated imagery such as superimposing. The tag line in advertisements is "They've got the power!" and "Being a teenager can be tricky." On its premiere night, it scored a surprising 5.93 million viewers. On October 5, 2007, the pilot episode was made available as a free download from iTunes. On October 12, 2007, iTunes required it to be purchased.

There is going to be a 2nd movie coming out, the 4th season is coming out i heard at the end of October (not sure yet) the 1st episode is called "Alex tells the World"
