well, if you're talking about the adjuchas class menos from bleach, then you've come to the right place. As you may know hollows are human spirits who for some reason, haven't passed on to the soul society. if a spirit has stayed long enough, their chain of fate disappears and they are left with a hole in their chest, thus turning them into the creature known as a hollow.
By now you're probably asking "what's a menos?" and you might be thinking back to the menos grande in episode 16. well you're partially right. A menos hollow occurs when a single hollow stops feeding on human souls and starts feeding on other hollows.
If the hollow is lucky enough, the power from every hollow it has consumed shall turn it into a Gillian class menos (aka a menos grande) these hollows are mindless and cant think for themselves and are at stage one in a three stage evolution. a notable feature in almost every gillian is that they are the size of a small skyscraper and every one looks the same. gillian are considered "foot soldiers" and can be easily taken out by an experienced seated officer. gillians are also great in number (the population is probably the same as the average hollow.)
An adjuchas occurs when a gillian continues to devour other hollows (possibly other gillian) and one personality out of all the hollows consumed, takes over the body. Adjuchas (pronounced adhuchas) are overall smarter and more powerfull than gillian but they are a few steps behind humans in overall intelligence. Adjuchas can vary in shape in size from looking humanoid, to looking like animals. they are much smaller than gillians, but are still notably larger than average humans. If an adjuchas stops feeding on other hollows, it can possibly devolve back into a gillian. adjuchas' strength ranks about the same as a shinigami lieutenant. the population of adjuchas are not as great as gillian but are still pretty populous
The last stage in evolution for menos hollows are vasto lordes. They completely out class every other hollow and the average shinigami captain in strength, intelligence, and speed. Vasto lordes are almost completely human in shape, size, and appearance (albeit still having their hollow powers) . The requirements for becoming a vasto lordes are unknown as none have been seen yet in the series. As it was mentioned by captain Toshiro Hitsugaya, their population is very VERY few and they live only in the deepest parts of Hueco mundo (the world where the hollows dwell). He also mentioned that if Sosuke Aizen had just ten under his command, the soul society would be doomed
None of Ulquiorra's history is actually shown, so it is unknown what he looked like before he became an Espada. However, judging by his Resurreccion, I guess his Adjuchas form would be a bat or something similar. Considering his wings, ears and fur.
At the Vizard training he was at Adjuchas level. After the training he went on to fight Grimmjow and other people I believe During these fights he used his hollow mask so he got in more practice and then he reached Vasto Lorde level, as we saw when he was fighting Ulqiorra (Final battle). So to answer your question, Ichigo did go Full Hollow in the Vizard training because he was fighting his inner hollow, but he was NOT at Vasto Lorde level at the time.
its arrancar and the difference is strength and power and they have a personality that is straighter than a normal hollow that has bipolar.xD
