Legends

The concept of heroes can be traced back to ancient times, with early examples found in mythology and literature, such as the Epic of Gilgamesh from around 2100 BCE and Homer's Iliad and Odyssey from the 8th century BCE. The idea of a hero has evolved across cultures and eras, but it became more formally recognized in literature and storytelling during the classical period of ancient Greece and Rome. Thus, while the notion of heroes has ancient roots, its prominent literary expression began around the 8th century BCE.
A mythrical tale is a narrative that combines elements of mythology and folklore, often featuring gods, supernatural beings, or legendary heroes. These stories typically explain natural phenomena, cultural practices, or moral lessons through symbolic and fantastical elements. Mythrical tales are rooted in the traditions of a particular culture, reflecting its values, beliefs, and historical experiences. They serve to connect communities to their heritage and provide insight into the human experience.
There are seven general characteristics that all epic heroes possess. They have a noble birth, they are capable of great strength and courage, they are great warriors, they travel over vast settings, national heroism, humility and they all generally either face supernatural foes or receive supernatural help.
