In decending order of distance from the sun,
they are:
My Very Exicted Mother Just Served Us Nachos
Mecury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune
(The menu used to be better. "My Very Educated Mother" used to serve us "Nine Pizzas"
before they busted Pluto.)
My mercury
Very Venus
Eccentric Earth
Mother Mars
Just Jupiter
Showed Saturn
Up Uranus
Nude Neptune
just remenber my very eccentric mother just showed up nude and you memorised all the planets.
In which order? Outward from the Sun; by size; by mass; by density or some other criterion? The sort of "saying" you ask for is called a mnemonic and you can construct your own.
Let's say you wanted to remember the principle planets in order from the Sun: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. You might take the first letter of each name and construct a sentence. For example:
(M)any (V)enezuelans (E)schew (M)ornings, (J)ust (S)leeping (U)ntil (N)oon
That's good, but you need to distinguish Mercury from Mars.

If you mean the planets in order from the sun then here they are:
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Pluto
The 8 "major planets" are (in size order) Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars, and Mercury. By mass the order is the same except for Uranus and Neptune switching positions. The remainder of the known planets are the 5 dwarf planets, and about 2 dozen candidate dwarf planets, and the asteroids (aka minor planets) in the Main Belt between Mars and Jupiter.
I remember Daffy Duck saying this along the lines like "You're despicable!"
he builds her a better telescope so she can see the stars and planets(jupiter)
You can't. Phoebe was one of a kind. Remember this old saying. If you follow someone you are already 2nd best.
Remember how Cruella was always saying "Anita darling!"? It's Anita and Roger.

There is no 'phrase' or mnemonic for this because the order of the Sun, Earth and Moon changes as the Moon orbits the Earth. Remember - planets obit a star (the Sun is a star) - Earth is a planet moons orbit planets - The Moon is a moon.
Write the names in order on a piece of paper, then turn it upside down and you can read the names in reverse order.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars are the inner planetsJupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune are the outer planets,Planets an easy way to remember is My Very Easy Method Just Sums Up Nine Planets.
there are many ways to learn the planets or better yet memorize them. The planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Saturn. Uranus, Neptune, and pluto. So what YOU have to do is make up a little saying, for instance, Mary Visits Emily Monday and Saturday Under Nicki's Porch. Therefore you can say the saying trying to memorize the planets and there meanings. Whenever you have to remember the saying just think of little sayings or think of a song, anything to help you know the planets. So I think that you should try something a little deifferent each time you have to memorize something like the planets. -elycia Williams-
They both are inner planets!..... Here is a little saying to remember.....: My(Mars) Very(venus) Eager(earth) Mother(mercury) J(jupiter) S(saturn) U(uranus) N(neptune)....(:
It takes about 5 minutes to learn the order, just read it out for 5 minutes and it's there.
Putting the planets in order by size is:JupiterSaturnNeptuneUranusEarthVenusMarsMercury
Two away. Earth is the third planet from the sun, Mercury is the first. Remember the saying My very educated mother just sat under nine planets. The first letter of the sentence is the first letter of all the planets in order, including pluto. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
That sounds like a humorous sentence using a mnemonic to help remember the order of the planets in our solar system. The sentence could represent: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.
I believe it is called a mnemonic (say Nuh-Monic)...the only one that comes to mind is from my youth, and a little racist, so I apologize in advance....to remember the spelling of the word ARITHMETIC I was taught.."A Red Indian Thought He Might Eat Tobacco In Church" mnemonics are also used to remember things like the order of the planets and the proper order of musical notes on a Treble or Clef staff.....hope this helped.
