Eugene Oâ??Neillâ??s â??Ileâ?? was first performed in 1917. The action takes place aboard a whaling ship in the captainâ??s cabin. Key objects in the captainâ??s cabin are brought to the audienceâ??s attention by the narrator. It is soon made clear, the ship's sailors have an ever increasing fear their captain has gone crazy based on what they deem to be irrational actions he has taken during the voyage. The hysteria reaches a breaking point barely averting a mutiny.

The island that comes to mind first is named 'Ile de la cité'. This is the centre of Paris and Notre-Dame stands on it. But there are two others; the Ile Saint-Louis close by, and the Ile des Cygnes to the west, near the Eiffel Tower.

Scott number 1294 Nice one! These $1 stamps cost $5 each unused. You could probably sell the sheet for $150 to $200 if they are unused and in very good condition.
