An ar (formally known as action replay) is a DS card that has cheats for almost any game you want.For an example:On Nintendogs all the same breed of dogs are the same size-with the action replay you can choose how big it is(flee sized-tiny-small-normal-big-huge-or as big as the room)
They cost about $20-$30 and I baught mine at Target/Kmart(I cant remember which onr) in Knox City but Im sure you can get them at other DS places too.I strongly advise that you buy an ar card if your bord with you DS/DSi game.But if you do NOT like cheating on games then I suggest you DONT buy one

When I first got my ar card I didnt know how it worked and I accadentaly deleted all of the games and the cheats-so heres what to do.Put in your ar card and load it.When the screen comes up saying insert game cart,put in any of you DS games and then click on the little white star with a green background and it may or may not have cheats but you can add cheats too.This will help you to not delete you file.The way I did it was I didnt put in my DS game and i clicked on all these random buttons and then it said "Press A to confirm" and I thought it meant to go to the game,but it was to delete it all-so never confirm it.If you have any other trouble with your action replay then please click on my nickname down the bottom and post your question/comment on my message board.I hope this helped
