Well, from now until The 15th, Toys R Us is having a special distribution event where they will be giving out a special lvl 100 movie Arceus to coincide witht he English release of Arceus and the Jewel of Life.
At pretty much every Toys R US in the US, you can go there and download Arceus to your Diamond, Pearl, Platinum game via they're Wi-Fi and once you get it, you can battle with it in the game.
Also, next year, when HeartGold and SoulSilver are released, you can trade this Arceus over to that game and it will unlock a special location where a special Level 1 Palkia, Dialga, and Giritina will be available for capture

i havent heard any news of the upcoming darkrai event since the event for shaymin hasn't been released yet (for platinum) and btw, most events are for wifi now, BUT they are 1st at toys r us, because when i had platinum when it came out, after than the event for a lv.100 Regigigas was released, and it was only in Toys R Us, and then later on the event for the rotom key came out for toys r us came out, but when a week after that u were able to get the key through wifi.
