What power does Pein have?
He possesses the Rinnegan, one of the three great dojutsu (eye techniques) along with the Sharingan and the Byakugan. People believed that is was a myth and the Rinnegan was just a mutation. no. pain has an eye that is 6x better than the other humans. which means he have no blind spot. Also, he can revive all the pain again when it is dead. mangekyo sharingan's dojutsu is still strong but it cannot bear with all 6 of themnaruto was able to defeat pain because, he surpassed jiraiya and yondaime which means he is stronger than itachi and he knew all the information that was given during the fight between pain and konoha.naruto isnt stronger than itachi on any point with sage jutsus. You are all underestimating itachi. There is a reason why pain didnt want to go after konoha until after itachi was dead. Amaterasu would own them and its not even sure if pain can absorb the fire that burns anything or if it would even disappear then. About tsykoyomi its instant but probably useless because pain is corpses ungless if it his nagato himself. Susanoo is also being underestimated you think itachi cant move if he uses susanoo? He got a shield that reflects all damage and a sword that only needs to hit the enemy one time. And itachi can still attack aswell. Itachi already owned nagatos strongest jutsu so stop underestimate the uchihas. itachi is way more skilled than nagato aswell so he wins this fight

Also rinnegan is bloodline just like it was past on to the the first ninjas son so yes soon he will receive the rinnegan also so he can match sasuke in bloodline traits because right now naruto has the match won to be able to control the nine tailed fox and to teleport like the 4th hokage and sage mode a vary of rasegan and the mystery of what hidden power give to naruto from itachi. In order for the rinnegan to be activated you have to have the senju clan as well as the uchiha clan....Uzumaki clan is a distant relative of the Senju clan also the rinnegan is a kekki genkai also called a blood line limit. nagato had the rinnegan and he was a part of the Uzumaki clan. itachi gave Naruto a "gift" which most likely now gives him both requirements to have the rinnegan. it just probably needs to be activated by some sort of shock like nagato did when his parents died. Naruto's father, the fourth hokage's relatives were part of the senju clan so he does meet the requirements cause itachi gave naruto the shisui's mangekyo sharingan for safe keeping. EDIT: Nagato's Rinnegan were Madara Uchiha's eyes. And Madara transplanted his eyes into Nagato without his knowledge. Madara then replaced his left eye with a replacement Sharingan. Naruto no longer possesses Shisui Uchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan, It was accidently released when Naruto fought Itachi after Itachi was reincarnated. Itachi then destroyed Shisui's eye. Itachi intentionally gave Naruto Shisui's eye for when he would fight Sasuke in the end. but lets get back to the Rinnegan stuff. Will Naruto or Sasuke ever get the Rinnegan. From what I see, they both have an equal possibility of obtaining the Rinnegan. Sasuke has the Uchiha bloodline, and Naruto has the Senju/Uzumaki bloodline. Both of them have the first requirement, but Sasuke is one step closer to Rinnegan because he now has EMS (Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan). He can awaken the Rinnegan by injecting Naruto's DNA into himself like Madara did. But it may take a long time to awaken it. Or, Sasuke can kill Obito Uchiha and transplant Madara's Rinnegan into himself, that's another possibility. But Sasuke killing Obito would be near impossible. For Naruto, most likely possibility for him, would be if Kakashi gives Naruto his Sharingan when he eventually dies. But who knows, I'm just guessing. My prediction by the end of the manga, Naruto will eventually awaken the Rinnegan to stop Sasuke, and use it's power to finally end the constant cycle of hatred in the shinobi world. He is the child of the prophecy after all. So was Nagato. And Nagato was a wielder of the Rinnegan. EDIT: My prediction is Sasuke will awaken Rinnegan because he is an Uchiha, the clan that was given the doujutsu by Rikudo Sennin and the Rinnegan is an evolution of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Naruto cannot awaken the rinnegan unless someone transplants it into Naruto, which is highly unlikely. Even if Naruto got the Rinnegan, he is too dumb to know how to use it. EDIT: Naruto CAN get the Rinnegan seeing that the Uzumaki are blood relatives with the Senju and Nagato got it aswell. He probably wont get it, he is already OP with the Tailed Beast Mode, and activating the Rinnegan is similar to activating the Sharingan, Naruto would probably have to go through a really emotional event. P.S. Attaining the Rinnegan requires the remerging of the Rikudou Sennin's two bloodlines, Senju (or Uzumaki), and the Uchiha. EDIT: Naruto most likely wont obtain the Rinnegan. Seems unlogical. Naruto has no kekkei genkai, or dojutsu. so... How can he get it? he has senju dna, yes, but so did Hashirama, Tobirama, so does Tsunade. Kushina had it too. But they didn't awaken the Rinnegan. In my opinion Naruto has a 0% chance of awakening the Rinnegan. Nagato was given or "borrowed" the Rinnegan. Obito "borrowed" it as well. Like the previous edit said, Naruto is strong as f***. He was able to defeat Nagato, and Juubi Obito without the Rinnegan. So why should he have it? Rinnegan Dojutsu doesn't match his fighting style either. Rinnegan Dojutsu is much different from Senjutsu, and Tailed Beast Mode. Sasuke on the other hand in my opinion will awaken the Rinnegan. 100% chance. Bottom line between Naruto and Sasuke. I see Sasuke as the Rinnegan wielder, and I see Naruto as the Juubi's Jinchuriki.

The Sharingan is way more better.Sharingan:The Sharingan has a lot of stages like the Dojutsus which has 3 stages. There are other versions of the Sharingan like Kakashi's sharingan in Shippuuden and Sasuke's sharingan in the naruto manga chapter 408. The sharingan can see others moves before the opponent does it, mentally hurt the foe with genjutsu and make illusions or decieve the foe with a better jutsu. Byakugan:The Byakugan was inherited from the clan of the Hyuuga. The Byakugan has white eyes (like Neji and Hinata's) and the veins near the eyes can be seen. The Byakugan makes the user faster and it can be used to block the opponents chakra. The Byakugan can also be used to look for incoming attacks and ambush, "Read" the eyes of another ninja and can see how much chakra another ninja has.

Madara has stated that Akatsuki didn't have the power to destroy Konoha. However, Pain was able to destroy most of the village, meaning that Madara might not know of Pain's true strength. During the invasion of Konoha, each body of Pain has demostrated to be able to defeat many jounin level ninjas together with no problem. When the six bodies are together it seems that even a kage level ninja is no match against the six paths. Naruto who has surpased even Tsunade with senjutsu, was able to defeat five of the six Pains, but he was no match to the Deva Path who defeated without effort the three boss toads, Naruto and presumably killed Fukasaku a great master in senjutsu. During the battlle "Jiraiya vs Pain" Jiraiya said that it was strange that his former student who had the Rinnegan the strongest dojutsu, who was able to learn everything that he thaught to him and even control the six types of chakra, something that no one else can do, used nothing of that. Also it has been almost confirmed that there is a seventh body who could be Nagato the "true God" and who might be much more powerful than the six paths. It is possible that Madara does not know Nagato. Finally if we analize the goals of both characters, we will se that they have different interests, Madara is more focused in revenge, while Pain has a more god type goal. There is the possibility of a fight between them in the future. it is simple madara will win because he has more power than any1 and naruto besides naruto and sasuke of course well, naruto beat all the 6 paths of pain but not nagato. and pain has like all the jutsu ever made. and the first ninja had the rinnegan. and madara has his sharingan and can be intangible and stuff so...
