Financial crimes, child pornography and hacking wireless devices are all examples of crimes that often require some kind of technology to commit. Computers, phones, networks, wireless signals, wii, etc., are all devices that could be used in the commission of a crime, and would be considered an "IT enabled" crime. Other terms commonly used, but have have very slightly different meanings are computer crime, cybercrime, network intrusion, hacking, etc.
